NAME

DESCRIPTION

CATEGORY

%

Modulus (division remainder). If x = 5 and y = x % 2, then y = 1.

Arithmetic

*

Multiplication. If x = 5, then y = x * 2 = 10.

Arithmetic

+

Addition. If x = 5, then y = x + 2 = 7.

Arithmetic

++

Increment. If x = 5 and y = ++x, then x = 6 and y = 6.

Arithmetic

++

Increment. If x = 5 and y = x++, then x = 6 and y = 5.

Arithmetic

-

Subtraction. If x = 5, then y = x - 2 = 3.

Arithmetic

--

Decrement. If x = 5 and y = --x, then x = 4 and y = 4.

Arithmetic

--

Decrement. If x = 5 and y = --x, then x = 4 and y = 5.
